WATERCOLOUR
I love to admire and look at them, but as a painter, I’ve always demonised watercolour and have always avoided using it. Partly because it’s so difficult to master, but mainly because if you make a mistake it’s so unforgiving. No second chance.
Fear of inhibition, I’m told, a desire to control and not loosen up. That is true, and is reflected here.
