2017 – The same observations made about Three Villas apply equally here. Musicians also know it as a variation on a theme. Academics call it ‘salami slicing’ meaning they can churn out essentially the same piece of research but as three differently titled journal articles. The artistic equivalent is Monet’s haystacks.
To that end, Villa Ey is exactly the same work as Three Villas, but minus the other two villas.
