2019 – You will see here the point I make about Soler, the architect, and the genius of the design. The roof tops and the blocks spread out almost like a fan.
Just buildings. But I was mesmerised. I mention elsewhere about the contrast between geography and place. Comparing the Troc to my painting of Battersea Power Station helps to articulate that difference. The latter, by contrast, is a much darker work.
