INK & COLOURED PENCIL
Biro, felt-tips, and dedicated art pens are all things I use in the process of planning a painting.
Coloured pencils can facilitate the interim stage before paint. After a 17 year hiatus this work felt like a landmark as it was the first work in colour since Rabbit (Art Diary, 11th January 2017). It was only after completing this coloured pencil sketch that I felt brave enough to try watercolour.
